The comp is nearly ready

This comp was just an Idea , it was a way of making contact with some bands we want to work with and it was also an attempt to 'promote' the label and get the word out , it also shows the style / genre of music we are going to be releasing . I have been blown away by the feedback i have received by people involved about the amazing line up i managed to snag for this , i myself am still in shock , so far things have gone amazingly well , all the bands i asked said yes ! not one declined the offer.

Thanks again to all the bands for being part of this , being part of something new and what we consider to be exciting. To be honest with you though , we are really gutteted that this comp wont be an actual CD , but money is money and we simply can not afford (at this point in time) to do a actually 'real cd' but we are going to make do and try and make them special , we are having a paper gatefold cover , screen printed and with a pull out poster / band contact sheet as well as hand drawn images and band contacts on the inner side of the gatefold jacket and hand numbered , we will also have a slim paper sleeve with colour art work, basicly a cheaper, scaled down version . The pressing info for them is going to be ........

25 on red / black swirl , 25 white / black swirl and 50 on plain white with DR 00 written in black. The split colours will be in the gatefold covers we are also doing some ubuer special versions we are classing as ' test presses' for the bands. The coloured ones will be spray painted using our swirly logo as a stencil.

We are doing a smallish amount , the 'first press' will be about 150 in total and if they go well and get sold out , we will 're-press' the comp on other various colours if all the bands agree on it.
This may sound a bit strange , but although it is only a CD-R we are going to give it our all to make them something special , something that shows how serious we are about this 'label' but mainly to satisfy our Record collecting obsession with various colours and Ltd things !
